Game Description
In Saboteur, players work together as miners to dig a path toward the gold. However, among the miners are saboteurs secretly attempting to derail the search for gold. At the beginning of the game, each player receives a secret role card. Miners aim to dig a path to the gold, while saboteurs try to disrupt the plans by placing obstacles and sabotaging the miners' efforts.
During the game, players place cards to build or sabotage paths and can use special action cards to break or repair tools. At the end of the round, the saboteurs are revealed, and points are awarded based on their success. The player with the most points after three rounds wins.
Gameplay
In Saboteur, miners try to dig a path to the gold while saboteurs work to stop them. The game unfolds as follows:
At the beginning of each round, players receive a secret role card, assigning them as either a miner or a saboteur.
Players take turns laying cards to build paths toward the gold or block paths to perform sabotage.
Players can use action cards to break tools, repair them, or draw additional cards for more options.
The round ends when the gold is reached or the saboteurs prevent the miners from succeeding.
After three rounds, the player with the most gold pieces wins.
